End of season 2022...Lanning and his $chmUck$ blow gigantic lead and lose to the Beavs...
End of season 2023...Lanning and his $chmUck$ are big favs in the PAC championship game, but lay an egg and lose to the dogs. And in the process miss out on a shot at the national championship.
So the question....how is $chmuckville reacting to Lanning now?? Can't be too good...

By some of the Coach Bray threads on this board some here are just itching to put him on the hot seat and no games have been played yet under his tenure. I mean questioning whether he is the right hire. You all have seen these posts.

If he could survive the breakdown and loss to OSU in the 2022, then this year's ass whooping of the Beavers ought to ingratiate him with Duck fans everywhere. Plus, his two losses to UW were by 3 points. Forgivable. Better odds of him heading somewhere else, I think. |

It’s starting to look like he can’t win the big games. Fans expect more, especially since he took over a very successful program. |

A loss to a rival is emotionally worse for fans than 2 non-rival losses. 21 - 9 doesn't look as good, especially when the bulk of their games are won off the field to begin with. Best decision ever, though at the time, I didn’t understand why they were firing a winning coach. In came Jim “the vest” Tressel, and suddenly every player was wearing a tie for all interviews. And then the National Championship in his second year. And a long win streak against the Wolverines. |
