Good to see Senate tackling real issues. Wish our senators would have taken some interest/action regarding the states larges public university and fate of our budget due to "reorganizing" at the direction of media moguls because that's clearly not a "real issue" and will not impact a lot of Oregonians. Good grief, drawing attention to a corrupt process tied to billions of dollars of interstate commerce and significantly impacting his home states constituents is I think a real issue.

He's just doing it for theater. It's a non-issue next year and nothing will change before the playoffs. He's not doing anything at all.

It's certainly fair and wise to harbor some degree of skepticism when it comes to politics. At the same time, we can't become so jaded we interpret every single action as an orchestrated charade as hard as that may be. I like and support the fact he sent a letter with a demand for transparency and a list of questions which need to be answered. This will put some heat and attention on the subject. It wasn't a grandstand speech, filled with claims and promises and seasoned with buzzwords. You have to start somewhere and a letter with straightforward questions is a good place to start.

I said this specifically is theater and pointless. Didn't say anything about any other action. Rick is doing this because his constituents care, rich doners care and he likes attention. Pick any high interest political football that affects Florida and you will find Rick Scott. He wrote a letter and put it on Twitter. Wake me up when he spends time looking at the issues and proposing legislative changes that don't benefit big money.

There are only four spots dude, someone worthy is going to be left out every single year. Scott’s just butthurt that this year it was HIS team. STBY pal.

But, of course, the State of Oregon has an Oregon grad and a Stanford grad for Senators, so we are basically the biggest idiots ever. The only Senator from the State of Oregon, who went to Oregon State was Frederick Steiwer, who was a Senator from 1927-1938. And he later went to Oregon.

" This is about integrity." Pretty rich coming from that jackass. Yeah, if anyone knows anything about "fraud," it's him. How dare he look out for his constituents and his constituents' interests! He should be busy ostriching like Oregon's Representatives and Senators! The silence out of Oregon's entire Congressional delegation is annoyingly deafening. The Oregon Congresspeople are fraudulently pretending to be Oregon Congresspeople. Need to clean out the House and Legislature in 2024 and bring in people that will actually do something.
