After all the things that have gone on in the program in recent weeks, recruiting is especially interesting.
Even though some of the recent commits don't have any real offers on significance, I have to believe that GA is very careful only to offer guys who he thinks can take the level of commitment he is going to ask of them.
Have to wonder how it "narrows down" the number of guys who we go after.
And, are some of these new commits "filling in holes" that are going to be opened up with defections that look to be almost certainly inevitable?
Just on paper, along with Sione Finau, this is a head-scratcher. Best I can guess is that both of these guys are mission guys(?), almost certainly with some excellent athletic genes. Preparing to let mother nature take its course with them - grow them both into 23yo physical beasts in 4-5 years time. ;-)

After watching Andersen's interview yesterday, this guy makes a lot more sense. Andersen said the immediate goal is to recruit the defensive side of the ball and in particular the pass rush. So, this guy bulks up and players either DE or OLB. We have had a slew of other similar recruits recently. |

if they go on their missions they are no longer bound by a verbal commitment and I wonder if GA is also no longer bound to still have a spot for them depending on how fit they are and what the immediate need is in 2 years?
