That's more to do with portal activity. Everyone knows the ducks will buy their next QB not start a frosh or coach one up. Ward will be in Eugene at the very least.

After CCS loss, top qb recruit decommits from hole Didn't they have that freshmen QB that bolted to fucla last year? That guy was a 5 star disappointment under Chip Kelly, .......Moore?. Goes to show you sometimes rating disappoint or don't pan out. I would guess they don't pan out more than what they do. I am thinking portal shopping gives you a more proven commodity. |

I am thinking portal shopping gives you a more proven commodity. 4 and 5 star recruits are about 30 times more likely to be drafted in recent years. Many don't pan out but on average 50% of the draft is 4 and 5 stars but they only make up 10% of the recruit pool each year. |
