I'd much rather the schmucks be eliminated far earlier in the season. Too much for my lifetime of beaver sports nervous system. Of course with the new playoff format you can probably pencil them in every year about. It really doesn't matter who their coach is (in the area of recruiting), they'll always bring in top talent.

Hey get your feelings, but they'll just be one of the pack now. UCLA always recruits pretty well no matter the coach. Riley has kids excited about SC. UM, tOSU, PennSt dominate Midwest recruiting. And UW isn't any weak sister. The demise of the Pac12 hurts the ucks in more ways than they'll ever admit, for far less $ than most of the other B10 members. Phil's $ had them almost into dynasty range. Now just a little brother with a smaller allowance.

Not to mention that the three big dogs from the midwest all have ginormous stadiums that pull in $5+ million for a home game. Any home game. So not only are they not getting a full share of media (for quite a long time), they are also going to be in the hole about another $10-$12M/year just on gate receipts.
Enjoy that for a few years and then we will be talking about needing a west coast conference again. Dipsh!ts.
