I saw that Leavengood is entering the portal. how can a 6th year guy have any eligibility? Cam McCormick, former duck and now Miami player, is petitioning for his 9th season. He and NIU's Kyle Pugh already have had 8 years of "eligibility". Must be because people live longer than they used to when the rules were first made? Seriously though, they're giving more liberty with injury exemptions and there's that covid year for everyone that played in fall of 2020 that didn't count against eligibility.

Nine years in college. To play a game. That he must be fairly good at to be wanted to return, but not good enough to go pro. Weird.

I saw that Leavengood is entering the portal. He has no eligibility. Played full seasons in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Not sure how the NCAA could even overlook that one.

Nine years in college with free room and board, education in the game for a future coaching career, a masters degree, etc? That seems alright to me lol

Probably getting two Jakes confused...Levengood (no remaining eligibility anyway) and Overman, who is in the transfer portal.

I think that that is correct, right?

Still wouldn't have enough missed games to add up to a 12-game season. At some point, you're done. He's reached it. The NCAA needs to stop this 6- and 7-year nonsense.

Michigan State has had 8 recruits decommit. The latest is their one and only quarterback in the 2024 class, Henry Hasselbeck (son of Matt).
I'm sure Noner will come up with a quarterback or two in the portal, but, at the moment, Noner has none.
