Just kidding. But I am curious when he'll return. Or when he'll be healthy enough to return. All other arguments aside, we are much more dynamic and exciting with him in the lineup.

I'm sure Nick Mitchell is a great kid and everything, but this weekend convinced me he is not the answer (long term) to our woes at QB. Hopefully Collins can be healthy again soon. Our offense is just flat out pathetic.

Ha... since nobody has shown they can complete a forward pass, might as well go with the QB that can run! Collins is a dynamic runner, and the kid has drive and WANTS to win. I will give him that. What I don't want to see is Baldwin dialing up 20 QB keepers a game, and Collins self-selecting himself over and over again. Lets hope he can come back soon, and time away clears his head a bit and lets him refocus on good reads and minimizing mistakes. if Collins is running the read-option at a decent level, that passing game opens back up for him to connect on the easy things.

I was disappointed in the media today for not asking about Collins status during the weekly press conference. Even if you know Andersen's not going to say anything, I think it's still a question worth asking. Andersen mentioned in a previous press conference that he was looking forward to letting us all know the whole story with Collins, but there's been no revisitation of that topic.

Convert VanderVeen back to QB and give him a shot. This season is a goner, anyways. I don't think VanderVeen got a fair shake.
I'd rather see Seth at any skill position sans QB. He's not even close to a Chuckie Keaton. Yeah fun to watch. I hope I'm wrong. Dude is full of confidence. I hope Seth can "get it" next year. He thinks he gets it because he just pulls the ball down and runs. Sometimes he breaks off a huge one. Sometimes he doesn't. His passing is really not good . No protection, though. Beavs need to find the college version of 9ers Blaine Gabbert because I look at Seth and he sure looks like the college version of Kaepernick. Haha! At least I don't see a lack of confidence with Seth. Kaepernick is toast in the head.
Next year, I want to see that Utah State transfer guy go up against Mason Moran. Maybe get a Lyle Moevao type of JC transfer thrown in the mix.

I have to say I'm not a fan of the super secrecy thing. I used to make fun of the Sucks for doing that.

I must say I didn't like seeing Collins 'yucking' it up with a teammate in the second half. How anyone could be smiling and enjoying themselves during that dumpster fire of a game is beyond me.

Didn't some criticize Derek Anderson for the same act when he was a starting QB in the NFL a few years ago?

I always get a chuckle out of fans doing this kind of thing. I mean, seriously? One week people are after Collins for pouting on the sideline... now you are after him for being too happy? good lord. I guess this week it would of been okay for him to be beating up gatorade coolers huh? Or would we of looked at that with a microscope too? Maybe what would be best is if our quarterback sent out a survey to the stands of acceptable sideline behavior to ensure he isn't upsetting anyone next week. In the immortal words of Sgt. Hulka "Lighten up Francis".
