With the one week window following National Signing Day on 11-8 closing on 11-15, the Beavers 17 member recruiting class of 2024 is in the books. If the June '24 MLB Draft doesn't alter it, the class is pitcher - heavy and another solid group. I believe one signee, RHP Wyatt Queen is scheduled to spend a developmental year in '24 pitching at Everett C.C. before launching his OSU career in '25.
Many members of this class had been committed to OSU for several years. C Kai Halstead switching his commitment from Stanford and SS/RHP Adam Haight changing from Washington to OSU were nice additions to this class. The late pick up of A.J. Singer gives the Beavs another "Golden Glove" in the infield.
Along the way, OSU parted ways with 4 recruits. RHP Jake McKowen from Fair Oaks-Del Campo (Sacramento area) elected to graduate early, enroll at Folsom Lake C.C. and prepare himself for the MLB draft next June. He had many nice things to say about the OSU staff - he simply wants to get an early start playing pro ball. MIF Conner Barth from Roseville, CA. - Woodcreek, was a surprising last minute decommit and will now play at Mississippi State. Both McKowen and Barth are nationally ranked players.
MIF Kenji Colston disappeared from our radar a while ago. He was a teammate of Brandon Forrester at Carmichael-Jesuit (Sacramento area). He will play at Cal State Fullerton. OF/LHP Thomas Young from Carson City, NV. - Douglas has also been off the radar for a while. He will play for the Aztecs at San Diego State.

Thank you easyheat! Appreciate this summary....feels like the losses weren't too bad given their decisions and love that Barth is leaving the West Coast as that shows that he's probably getting paid to go SEC and not just getting away from Beavs and good luck to Mr McKowen on his journey!
