we end up:
10-3
9-4
8-5
To me 10-3 is very good but was expecting more. 9-4 is OK,8-5 a disappointment.

My personal prediction before the season was 9-4, with a chance at 10-3.
8-5 disappointing 9-4 very good 10-3 great

The Wazzu loss was bad. If we beat hole, it really salvages the season......I do not expect that.
Good season, not great......a few plays here and there from being great.....that's football.

I think 9-4 would be outstanding.
Last year was sort of fool's gold - we won two games on essentially the last play of the game. We had two close losses, but got blown out at Utah. We were very close to being 8-5, with losses at Stanford and at Fresno State.
Every win this year has been convincing. We're 11 points away from being undefeated. We're better this year but not have as good a record.

Numbers don’t tell the full story. This season, has been really great. The Pac is loaded, and we didn’t have the kind of luck we had last year….remember the Stanford win? This year has been a grind. We have had to win the hard way. But this team is much stronger for it, I think. A little more luck and we’d be right there at the top.
And we still haven’t lost by more than 3 points.

We're better this year but not have as good a record. Agree on 9-4. Don't really agree that last year was "sort of fool's gold." OSU going 10-3 was a perfect representation of where the team was overall. And it was summed up perfectly with the 30-3 win against a middle of the road Florida team. There was no doubt from early on in a game that people were wringing their hands over because of Florida's perceived talent level (despite all the defections). Good teams win games despite not playing at their best. Stanford was a perfect example of this. As for Fresno State, the Beavers won in Fresno over a team that finished 10-4 and no doubt would have had another win or two had their QB stayed healthy the whole season. You can say they almost lost those two games but they almost won against USC and UW. A couple of plays go OSU's way... As for 9-4, I said before the season that 7 wins would be the basement for this team. They had what we can now view as pretty much a bad loss to WSU. UA and UW were losses to very good teams. So OSU either needs to pull off the win at UO or win the bowl game. At this point, 8-5 would be a disappointment and 10-3 would be fantastic, so 9-4 seems pretty good.

I am calling 'disappointed' with this season. Why?
5-4 in conference and really didn't beat any 'good teams'
Stanford, Cal, Deon's are all bad
UCLA? Meh, they are so 'good' they are gonna fire their coach
Utah? Meh without Rising they are not Utah
Loses? Two by three points, one by two points, one by a bunch of points. But are all still losses. WSU turns out to be in the Cal/Stanford/Buffs bucket
It's my honest assessment of the year. I will always love my Beavs, but this wasn't a 'good season'

Disappointing. Certainly a much better team than many seasons, but, JFC, it hurts. It just hurts. Last night I was looking at flights and hotel rooms for San Diego, but I just can’t. This season has been too hard. Losing the conference, and now probably our coach, a generational talent that I had hoped would be here a long time, is just too hard. It might be the final straw.

First off, this season isn’t over yet.
I’ve watched every minute of it and attended every home game.
