The Cougars and Huskies signed a five-year contract that begins next season with a neutral-field matchup, followed by four games played on a home-and-home basis.

Pretty fair deal. Huskies were spouting off about not ever going to Pullman again.

The concern for me is that it becomes a Colorado-Colorado State type of paradigm.
Maybe there is a way for the Pac2 to come out of this with some relative advantages and maybe that doesn't happen but it's a concern of mine personally.

Let's see what this looks like after 5 years of financial disparity between the schools. There's no point in WSU or OSU scheduling body bag games....

We already have financial disparity currently and we've beat them 2 of the last 3. Their budget is $139 million for this year and ours is $95 million.

That $44 million gap will only get wider, and with it, the all time series gap as well.

Barnes has said football will continue to be funded at a P5 level.
