For goodness sake, wake up...the fact that ESPN went to a campus with an upcoming meaningless game rather than ours tells you everything you need to know about how much they're worried about future lawsuits and the possibility of opening their files as part of the discovery process.
They were worried about unruly students, not lawsuits. They’re not worried at all about lawsuits.
Right, cuz they don't deal with unruly students all over the country...🙄
The reality is they don't want to have to address our situation more than they have to. It's an annoyance to them. They hold the cards. We are on the outside, looking in. They are just avoiding, and letting things take their natural course.
That's sad because the only time Gameday would ever come to Corvallis is when there's a big match up. In fact, that's the design of Gameday. It's sad to think that our program can't handle it when other programs like UW or the Ducks can.
Perhaps you don't mean that it would affect the game; perhaps you just mean that it would not be the preferred routine for our coaches and players. I doubt very much that it would hamper CJS's focus on the game. Or the players.
It would not have been difficult for OSU to handle. My guess is the info that Henry S. got comes from someone who was kind of speaking from an attitude of, Well, they aren't coming. Just as well. Would have been an extra pain in the butt leading into a big game.
Yea, agreed. It's total crap to focus on the "distraction" aspect. Gameday goes to big matchups every week. It's part of big time college football. To say it would've been a big disruption comes across like we aren't a big time program that can't handle something like GameDay coming to town......bulls%#t!!
