What's "GameDay"?
For that matter, what's "ESPN" any more...?

Not for years. No particular reason.

Don’t care about east coast football at 6am Pacific time.

I can’t justify sitting on my butt that long. The 3 hours for the game is enough.

I put it on when I wake up Saturday AM. Probably out of habit at this point.
I like seeing random kids try field goals and WSU flags. Hard to watch Corso at this point, not sure why thay haven't retired him out of respect to his family.

Been watching them for years but since they have spent the past few months pissing in my beer and just took a huge dump in my dinner plate, they are dead to me now!
Go Beavs!!

I don't think ESPN has the heart to forcibly retire him after all these years ... the man obviously still enjoys being out there on the set doing what he does with the headgear picks and what not or else he would voluntarily hang it up himself. Forcing him to go sit at home and watch the show on TV from now on probably wouldn't be conducive to his well-being ... I worked with a guy pushing 80 years old who was still at it every day and once he told me "You know I have known more then a few folks who were such in a hurry to retire ... and all they ended up doing everyday was sit at home and watch TV and then they died a couple years afterwards."

Not all three hours of it, but it's on before I leave the house for my walk or to set up the tailgating spot or whatever else I have going on early Saturday morning.

I watch it every Saturday, but I'm not glued to the TV during the broadcast.
I get up on Saturdays between 6-6:30, turn on the tv, put on a pot of coffee, and then look at the Saturday college football schedule for the Pac 12 (and now, this season, the MWC). The I start the laundry for me and my 14 year-old daughter. I don't do my wife's laundry as I fear ruining her clothes. I check every piece of clothing for stains that need an extra attention, take care of that, and usually start by getting a load of darks going.
Then I go to the kitchen and glance at GameDay as I walk by. The kitchen is close enough to the TV that I can hear it. I start making breakfast for myself while my daughter sleeps in and my wife sleeps in a little more before she has to go into work. Truthfully, the peaceful hour or two of quiet I have on Saturday mornings make it the best morning of the week. Nothing against my family, it's not them, but it's the rest of the neighborhood waking up and the noises of suburbia getting into full gear. Lawnmowers, leaf-blowers and even chainsaws get going by 8:00 am. It's rare to have either my wife or kid up at that time on Saturday mornings; the occasions in which they are just add to the peace of the morning.
I like a lot of GameDay. I like the guests and I like it when the predictions are made for the day's biggest games. I like Kirk Herbstreit for analysis and Pat McAfee for comic relief. Lee Corso doesn't bother me. He's old and not really with it anymore, but he likes what he's doing and has fun doing it. I actually find his attitude of, "We're having a great time here!" to be infectious and his fumbling through his picks heartwarmingly pleasant.
I like Gameday overall because it is a show that one does not need to take seriously...at all. Just the way I want to wake up on Saturdays.

I think the poll explains why ESPN isn't in Corvallis this weekend. There's no upside to coming here. Viewership is low in the West. OSU has been shunned. No need to allow angered fans an opportunity to air their grievances. Plus, Jonas Bros. Wow.
(We need a poll to see how many of us actually know who the Jonas Bros are. lol)
