Great 1st weekend of competition, 3 dual W's. Lots of hardware at 3 open tournaments. I saw a stat Beavs went 100-19 in the three opens on Sat/Sun.
My take on the guys that went back East. Your thoughts?
125 BK – Slow start to season with 2 early losses, I am hoping he can find his offense of 2 seasons ago. 133 Whisenhunt – Good early ranked win vs V Tech 141 Belton – 2 early losses, would like to have seen him win his SE final 149 Tolentino – Good wins during the tri-dual, not sure why he wasn’t out there during SE Open 157 Menke/Crosby – Menke decent, but not sure he’s the answer. Have heard Crosby is back for Iowa 165 Fouret/Olguin – Fouret has been an outstanding #2 so far, no ideas on Olguin status 174 Wittlake – workman like, close wins against other D1 guys 184 Munoz – Solid, I think he looks better than he ended last season 197 Rademacher – Surprise of the line up for me. Beating his teammates and went on a nice run @ SE Open to finish 3d place. No ideas on McKinney’s status or when he will challenge 285 McDermott – Solid & great addition for us, good SE tournament, wish he could have made the finals.

I agree with all that, especially Kaylor and Belton. Reiniche looked good, and is a great back up to TW. Rademacher looks like he may have trouble staying where he's at the next few years...lol. Seems like a big 197.
As has been said before, this room is as tough as I've ever seen it. Such a dramatic change. The best is yet to come, I'm sure.

Tolentino had the North Carolina wrestler dive through his leg on a take down attempt. This illegal move is how he won the match. His knee appeared injured. Looked minor as he was walking with slight limp.
