If the Beavs win today it’s “meaningless.” If the Beavs lose today it will be meaningful. 🤔 I’m positive that today’s win means something. It means we didn't lose? It means we got the job done. We did what we should have done and by a healthy margin. I'd say it means something, especially after losing to Portland State last year. Granted, Linfield is not PSU, but beating who you are supposed to beat means something.

Some interesting numbers. Should w be concerned that all Wright could muster in 30 minutes against these guys was 6-2-2?

Lake was a steal walking on…..Our guards look like they can play, not so sure about the bigs. Will be interested when we play teams with similar size. Agreed on Lake. Of course being that he walked on, one would have to assume he didn’t have much in the way of D1 offers — and that could very well be because he lacks some athleticism. That won’t show up against a Linfield. But he plays composed, understands angles, and gets to the right spots to make plays for himself or others. In other words, he’s a basketball player. Agree on bigs too. Ideally Ibekwe would only play 10-15 mpg and Chol 5-8. Unfortunately, Beavs don’t have that luxury. And WT likes bigs for his D. Hopefully they’re a net positive or a push over course of season.

I only saw first half but I liked how active he was overall and especially on D. Don’t know that we can expect big numbers from him, but if he continues to play like I saw him in first half I think he’ll be one of those kind of players where we’re better with him on the floor.
