Is USC & Riley smart enough to go after Coach Bray? # hope not 😡 You do not have to worry. Bray is not at the top of many team's wish lists for a team with big money like SC. Every site has their own lists etc, but, SC will look for a "name" from a spot that consistently plays GREAT competition and/or who has a defense that has made the team viable despite ok to average offenses. These are the types SC would look to steal away and some would be a nice way to make an entry into the B10: Phil Parker/Iowa... universally thought to be the best DC in the country. He has kept Iowa with winning records despite how bad Iowa is on offense. Minter/Michigan Knowles/tOSU Muschamp or Schumann/ co-DCs Georgia Golding/Ole Miss Banks/Tennessee Diaz/Penn St Choate/Texas Belk/Houston... Saban disciple that Nick has publicly stated he wants on his staff House/LSU Rossi/Minnesota All these guys are more experienced at higher levels and many are considered prime candidates for HC jobs. Nothing against Bray, but he's not at the point where he's considered an elite DC candidate and that is type of guy an arrogant team like SC will look for. They need to make a statement with this hire after how this season has gone.

I'm a HUUUUUGE USC fan this week can only hope for that 'inspirational play after fired coach' ala Raiders last Sunday (and other examples out there)

Can you imagine how good they could have been if they had hired (75-year-old?) Rocky Long in March 2022?

I'm a HUUUUUGE USC fan this week Wouldn't our shot at Las Vegas be better if USC LOSES this weekend? We need them to have 2 PAC losses. And in any case, we'll need to beat the $chmUck$ to get to 'Vegas.

And in any case, we'll need to beat the $chmUck$ to get to 'Vegas. The only scenario in which Oregon State does not control its own destiny to Vegas: (1) Arizona wins out, (2) Washington beats both Utah and Wazzu, and (3) The USC @ Oregon winner loses next week. Those six games turning out that way coupled with an Oregon State Civil War win would result in an Arizona v. Washington Pac-12 Championship Game. And that is true, even if Oregon State won out. Oregon State would be the first team out in that scenario. Next week, Oregon travels to Tempe, and USC hosts UCLA. If you are concerned about two-loss Pac-12 Championship Game scenarios, the best scenario is to root for the team that you believe is more likely to win next week. Of course, an Arizona or Washington loss would free us all up to root for whoever we wanted.

We win out, Utah wins out, we're all good.

I was hoping that Washington could beat Utah, and Oregon State could beat Stanford. Those two results coupled with a Missouri or Ole Miss win, and I would put money on GameDay coming to Corvallis for the first time in 13 years. That would be big for the school, especially given the current circumstances.
