Hole is adding a D1 transfer - Paul White, who is a junior from Georgetown who has 2 years of eligibility left! Didn't hear what position he plays, but he is former top 50 high school player out of Whitney Young in Chicago (same school that our little point guard was from who left CR's program for Illinois a few years back)
I'm sure that Altman/Nike are magnetic, and I Know that Altman can coach it up in the "X and O" department, but it's laughable to me how many athletes leave their programs to play for the 'ucks. I can't imagine that any other program has entertained as many transfers as hole has. Maybe it's the pile of national titles that they've won in hoops.... Since 1939! Or, moe likely, Altman desperately needs to fill out his roster after Ionescu's brother turned out to be ineligible. Yeah, that's it!

6'8" SF. Was a rotational player as a freshman. Injured most of sophomore year. Looking like he's been surpassed by others at the forward spots. I don't think anyone at Georgetown is necessarily crushed that he left for the Hotel Altman.
Does beg the question - Is Dana up all night sending "thinking of you..xo xo" texts to everyone else on every other team in the country?

You would think at some point this strategy would start to impact the ability to recruit high school kids. "Don't worry kid, we will not bring in a transfer to take your minutes after you have put in hard work and loyalty for a couple of years."

Got caught cheating so taking any other available short cuts they can. I'm betting they are still skirting the very edges of whatever contact and recruiting rules there are these days. But, they serve as an exemplary example of why winning is NOT everything. I'm certainly no "Mother/Saint Theresa", but it baffles me the mentality of being a uck fan over the last 15 years with all the crap/embarrassment.

There were over 700 transfers this year, so it's safe to assume plenty of programs have had as many transfers as Altman. This year alone there were over 100 schools that took 2+ transfers and at least 20 or so had 3+. Within our own conference USC, Arizona, and Cal all took 2 transfers, so they all have at least as many on their rosters as Altman does (he has 1 from last year and 1 from this year).
