It doesn't seem to matter to the Blazer organization that no one in Portland knows how to find their games anymore, or has watched a regular season game in like 4 years.

It doesn't seem to matter to the Blazer organization that no one in Portland knows how to find their games anymore, or has watched a regular season game in like 4 years. I know… And that is my hesitation on the subscription services. I would like to get Mariner and Trailblazer games, and almost never see them because normally on some kind of subscription service I don’t have. Yeah- for OSU I would for sure pay extra to get it. But it will stop some people from watching our Beaver games. |

Nothing worse than a fan base with apathy, and the Blazers have certainly achieved that. Another tanking year to select a 20-year old lottery pick that may or may not pan out in three years. They don't seem to care all that much any more about the fans. Similar to other pro sports franchises, they make a hefty profit each year regardless if the team wins or loses. I guess they figure they can let Billups take the losses and when they start to turn the corner in a couple years, then they can hire a real coach.

The failure to build a team around a generational talent and arguably the best player in franchise history was a traveshamockery. The fact that the fanbase wasn't upset at Lillard's departure and that the overwhelming sentiment was "I hope he wins a title, he deserves it" says it all. |
