The O's Nick Daschel has a good story on Timea Gardiner and her battle with blood clots.
She started getting symptoms after what should have been a minor accident on campus with I think those individual scooter things that are like skateboards...not sure exactly.
Sounds like she was fortunate to get treated in time.
