Folks that think the B12 without Tex/OK adding the "late but not great 4" will be significantly better than a Pac2/MWC merger haven't watched much B12 football. Osu vs KSU not as ugly as the B10 matchup (look at the B10 West!!), but two very mediocre teams. Utah, which will not be Utah of the last 5 or so seasons, will be the best team in '24. |

LSU defense was pretty mediocre with Speights. With him out they look absolutely terrible.

Okie has grabbed to fumbles they couldn’t convert them the horns were obviously coming to block a punt in the endzone and they did. Okie doesn’t look well coached.

Before being hurt 13 TOTAL tackles... 4 ua, 9 a... in 3 games. The D gave up 110 pts in those 3 games even with only 10 vs mighty Grambling St. Gave up 50 per vs D1 competition with him. Next... That didn't prove anything. You said his stats and what happened before. He wasn't in the ole miss game where they gave up 55. You can't prove he isn't or is an impact youre just being a jackass again. |

I'm not a LSU follower, but LSU & ESPN stats have him with stats vs Ol Miss? Team stats show the D giving up 50/game with him playing vs D1 teams, and 0-2 record in those games. You stated with Omar the LSU D was better. The two complete games w/o Omar, 31 & 14... 45 pts total... 22.5 per. I guess if the Tigers score 105 the D will be giving up 50 per vs the D will also be as bad. But, although you're trying to give a former OSU player props, it's just not true. And, as stated the LSU D performance.. good, bad, ugly... isn't on Omar. Evidence provided is factual. Your opinion based on (how many LSU defensive snaps have you watched?) this game doesn't match the data. PS- Omar was highly effective at OSU due to the scheme. OSU funnels plays middle whenever possible. Omar excelled in the box. Not in space. Certainly not in man coverage. LSU's D doesn't play a scheme that plays to his strengths. |
