They will completely renovate the east grandstand at War Memorial Stadium. Posted because we might be playing the Cowboys more often than in the past in a couple years, and because some here (like me) are interested in facility projects. Wyoming is doing the same thing we did, upgrading a 1950s-era stadium one bite at a time. They did the east side in 2010 and added a north end-zone facility in 2018 and south end zone video board recently. The playing field runs in a north-south direction. One interesting note: "Thanks to a $50 million investment from the Wyoming Legislature and additional funding from the university, Wyoming Athletics is well positioned to complete this project."Imagine that. State funding (not bonding, actual cash) for an athletic project. restorethewar.com/

One interesting thing about Wyoming is that when that stadium is full, literally something like 1 out of every 19-20 residents in the state is in the stadium. We'd really have to expand our stadium bigtime to do that.

Wyoming has a ton of money, thirteenth in the United States of America in per capita GDP. Oregon is 23rd and has to support two FBS universities to Wyoming's one.

A bunch of the MWC schools have put money into renovations or building new facilities or are in the process of doing so. The MWC is a solid conference. I enjoy watching MWC games. I just don't want OSU and WSU to merge with it unless they have no other option.
