If you listen to the broadcast, Colorado won 41-48. I think the crew was wearing Buffs gear

Update, I was right. Actually quote from the postgame show “ Colorado really won today” idk if it's just the P12 and networks trying to drive narratives for their chosen but this is thelst biased year of announcing I've heard. The game with Utah was beyond laughable.

FOX and Gus Johnson love the Buffs are hyping them beyond belief to push the ratings. Johnson is receiving considerable blowback for his CU slurpfest on Saturday.

If you listen to the broadcast, Colorado won 41-48. I think the crew was wearing Buffs gear USC has the worst defense on the planet. Like, I hate USC, like god intends... but I was SO damn irritated they let Colorado back in that game and made it close. We really needed them to get blown out again. The hype and ego train over there in Bolder is absolutely insufferable.

Going up against a top ten team with the reining Heisman holder in the backfield and nearly kept up with them on the scoreboard. Their season so far is a great story. 3-2 with the two loses against top ten teams. Has any team played anywhere near as tough a schedule so far? Outside of natural affiliation, what draws unaffiliated viewers to watch a game hasn't changed. David vs Goliath, people will with no affiliated interest will watch an underdog vying to upset a giant. Good vs Evil, not in the literal sense, but the unaffiliated will tune in hoping to watch team "x" lose in bigger numbers than tune in to watch team "y" win. The viewership numbers so far suggest the hype has drawn in viewers like flies to fresh cow poop.

The hype and ego train over there in Bolder is absolutely insufferable. SC's D is 40 spots higher in NCAA rankings than last season and are no where near the worst in the Pac12 let alone the country. See Colorado, Stanford for terrible Schedule or not, they play who they play... they allow less points per game than (5) other teams, are 10th in total yds given up, lead in sacks. Will it cause them issues vs some future opponents? Yep. But, LR is notorious for not focusing on D and brought in a ton of transfers. So they are playing with a bunch of 1st year guys in AG's system. They have a LOT of talent. Whether it jells who knows, but this is much better than USC last season... the terrible D that stifled a OSU's offense. BUT... totally agree, at 34-7 I was hoping for a 69-21 type outcome. But, the effing Trojans are still the all talent that plays well below it team.

Outside of South Carolina, Colorado has played a tougher first five games then anyone and has a winning record to show for it, which is pretty unbelievable.

In one they aren't the best in the Pac12. Some have Buffs 14, 1, 2. But, it's "whatever" as they don't control who they play when. So playing Oregon and SC early elevates it greatly. The Pac12 having multiple ranked teams always helps the SOS. At least for a while.
