Remember him as one of the cornerstones of a young Oriole team that surged in the early 1960s, eventually waxing the Dodgers 4 zip in the 1966 Series. Loved it. Not a Dodger hater but I had heard enough about Koufax and Don Drysdale by then.

We are losing some great ones. Vida Blue Sal Bando, Willis Reed, Bud Grant, Jim Brown. There goes my childhood |
