Second most points by 1 team in NFL history (72 by Washington vs NYG in 1966)
Miami is my team since 1972. If they stay healthy they could make a run this year...

The record for most points scored by any NFL team came in 1940, when the Chicago Bears defeated Washington 73-0 in the NFL championship game, according to Pro-Football-Reference.com.

NFL records are for regular-season games only. The Bears scored more points than any NFL team in history, but it's not considered an NFL record.

Payton’s an arrogant ass. Hopefully, a 70 spot wipes that smart-ass smirk off his pasty face. Doubt it, though.

Since we’re picking nits, the OP said: “Second most points by 1 team in NFL history (72 by Washington vs NYG in 1966).” No mention of a record. Second most points by 1 team in NFL history. Not regular season, not playoffs, history.
