Others, who, like me, are not lawyers - there's plenty of other threads going on where you can put your two cents worth in. I would like to hear bona fide legal opinions, and only legal opinions.

I haven't watched it yet, but what this is is a Beaver Behind Enemy Lines (and a lawyer), Alan Thayer, giving his recap of today's events. If you listened to the Joe Beaver show/podcast today, you heard Alan Thayer give his opinion on what was likely to happen today. Tonight's video is his opinion on what DID happen...

I haven't watched it yet, but what this is is a Beaver Behind Enemy Lines (and a lawyer), Alan Thayer, giving his recap of today's events. If you listened to the Joe Beaver show/podcast today, you heard Alan Thayer give his opinion on what was likely to happen today. Tonight's video is his opinion on what DID happen... Interesting, sounds positive but I will believe it when I see it. Also Mike you always have well thought out, critically thinking comments you should be immediately moved from freshman status to at least sophomore. It's the quality not the quantity. |

Sure would love to see emails between the conference and schools and also emails between the schools. I don't think they would want to release then in the discovery part. It would be bad for them I believe in the end.

Re: the antitrust question that was brought up - worth noting that topic was brought up by Trustee Clark on August 7 during the dialogue in the Trustees meetings in which Murthy and Barnes discussed the Aug 5 news. To paraphrase, she suggested that if this kind of activity happened in the business world, the FTC and other agencies would be involved...
