I mean there hasn't exactly been much newsworthy to post about in the dead of the offseason. We could always beat a dead horse and speculate on whether or not WT should have a job though.

…the date is 9/10 and the last post on here was 8/25. The last post was the last big thing in the news on Oregon State basketball. Gary Payton was briefly interviewed about Oregon State's current situation and said that Oregon State would dominate the Mountain West. He praised the football, women's basketball, and baseball teams and stated that we "just got to get our basketball team on track. That's it. That's all it is." And that is all of the news on basketball. No sense to yammer about nothing. |

Well to be fair, the only news on the baseball board has been about players in summer league and the pros. Other than the Thompsons in the FIBA tournament, there isn't any sort of off season equivalent for basketball.

Puerto Rico finished 12th in the FIBA World Cup, Puerto Rico's best finish since 2002.
Stevie Thompson started all five games, and Ethan came off the bench in most games. Stevie had a double-double to lead off the World Cup, Player of the Game. He also had five steals, which was the most this World Cup.
Puerto Rico lost the second game to runner-up, Serbia, and basically had to win the next three to climb out of the losers' bracket. Puerto Rico lost to Italy, though, in the last game to miss out on the quarters.
