We can disparage the article all we want. But it does leave an interesting question: Suppose we do a reverse merger with the MWC. What protections do OSU & WSU have against the 12 MWC schools voting in a block against OSU & WSU?
I have to believe that a reverse merger would include agreements that provide a lot of protections for OSU & WSU.

OSU & WSU definitely need to protect themselves. I don't know if they can write in "veto power" or something along those lines in extending an offer to MWC members to join.
