This simply can not be right. No way can this be accurate. Never-the-less, I'll post it here anyway so you can judge for yourself. Note where the "Oregon State vs San Jose State" game ended up. I'll save you some time: the "Oregon State vs San Jose State" game is listed near the top of the list, not the bottom. www.sportsmediawatch.com/college-football-tv-ratings/Okay, last weekend's game did benefit from being on a Sunday. We rebuild the PAC and get a TV deal and maybe the trick is run a Sunday game instead of a late night Saturday game. A Sunday game right before a bye weekend would be the idea.

You answered your own question. It’s because the OSU game was on Sunday. Would not have had that following on Saturday and it drew Bay Area viewers.

A Sunday game when the NFL is playing isn’t going to get those numbers.

Raise of hands on who wants to go up against the NFL on Sundays if that was even possible.

Obviously, Sundays don't normally work because of NFL, but I think the underlying point is a good one.
If we end up in a cobbled together PAC/Mountain/AAC then it would probably be a good idea to feature games at a time other than Saturdays each week. If not several games a week. Play Thursday and Friday nights and draw the eyeballs since it's not competing with everyone else.
