There's a guy on YouTube, Peter Boghassian, who was a philosophy prof at PSU who used to have discussions in his classrooms where he'd have both/all sides present their arguments for their positions in a non-confrontational format. He then did it outside among the general student population. He got run off. Apparently PSU took the stance that he should not discuss both sides of controversial topics in philosophy classes, something along those lines anyway. Probably the same guy. He's got a lot of videos posted.

He's got a lot of videos posted. This is a little oversimplification of events. He got run off for academic misconduct. There is a lot of stuff online about it. He was more or less being deceptive and a bit of a weasel in pursuing submitting of fake or hoax articles and seeing if he could get them published. Something others have done, and itself not the issue. The issue was misrepresenting the degree to which he had success and not disclosing his only publication successes were bottom tier, pay for publication, type journals. He never succeeded in placing a hoax article into a reputable journal or one that specialized in the field he was trying to fake the article for.
