It wouldn't surprise me at all. It fell apart really fast. Made me wonder why it went it went south so quickly. Apple will be a part of the media broadcasting football in the future no matter if fox did it or not.

Looks like Arizona applied for Big 12 and were accepted before the B1G lured u dub and hole ......B1G knew the Pac was a yard sale, so it was a win, win for them. Keep Apple out, and increase your inventory with two strong west coast schools. |

Collusion, in and of itself, is not illegal. Neither is using your market power to damage your competitors.
Antitrust laws are very specific. In general, they limit collective action within an industry to limit competition, not the action of individual parties within the industry. If Fox and ESPN colluded to fix the payouts to the colleges at an artificially low level, they likely could be prosecuted. But for Fox to simply outmaneuver Apple and outbid them for specific schools is just sharp business.

If there's truth to it, I doubt Apple would sit by quietly while they get out maneuvered by Fox. |
