A duck friend (I know, oxymoron) invited me to his house for a bbq and Husky game. He said he wasn't sure what the Mountain West Schedule was 🤨 oh well, been gettin' that from my circle of friends my whole life (I know, find new friends) Your duck "friends" will not be so cocky about this time in 2025... On a side note... no one has mention this, but the arse wipes of the media might try to use this move to their advantage during the bowl season of 2024. I could easily see a struggling B10 duck team being matched up with OSU in a bowl game. Or at least a bowl trying to set that up!!?

Sounds like a guy who thinks it was a fluke that the Ducks couldn’t stop the Beavers from running the ball and winning the last real Civil War. Sounds like a guy that thinks rotating coaches shows how strong and great the team is. Everyone wants to coach the Ducks…for a year. They "Went to sleep" is how some DuckWire writer explained the loss. Sure they did...in a rivalry game. LOL Wait until they hit the pound 'em football of the Big 10. If they can't stop the run there, duck arrogance will be a thing of the past for sure.

I would love to respond to his letter to the editor, but don't want my name and location posted in the O
Some facts:
It's not just about football, it's all sports UO has had 'national success? In what? OSU has three national championships in recent years. UO may have played in some 'Natty's' but they LOST.Nice exposure! UO and UW did not show up for the vote on the Apple media deal, thus dooming any chance of getting it done, so actually UO was in part responsible
Some speculation UO/UW were the schools that wanted $50M deal from ESPN? Until their president/AD deny it, I say it happened.

I could draw some parallels with other now equally hated groups of people - but I won't. Please do… He's already at 50%; he doesn't dare name said groups for fear of hitting 75.

You can cheer against the traitors...
OR, you can simply ignore them.
Which do you suppose will bother them more? I know my answer. I'll not be watching any of this crap. Deny them the eyeballs they so desperately crave, and focus on OSU. That is my way forward.
I'll look at the game score later and see how Paris Hilton is doing, otherwise who gives a sheet? They think they "matter" because Phil bought them a nice car. They don't, and they think they "won" in all of this. When this whole thing runs it's course and they are rendered irrelevant in the B1g they are going to be looking to come back west, and rebuild their "brand". Again, will be Ignore from me.

I'll admit I will occasionally watch Top10 vs Top10 matchups as long as they do not interfere with an OSU game or tailgate. If it is an open time for me then fine. But, other than OSU I can see all l need watching highlights (granted it might be on ESPN) and reading summaries. But, in either case I could care less who wins as most of the teams in that category on a consistent basis have been "cheating" the system for a decade or more. NIL how it is being handled (not how I understood the court ruling to mean) has just made what they always did "legal".

Going to stop watching anything on Fox (outside of NFL) as well. If they want to damage the university I graduated from, they don't need my money or time. I know it's not much, but Fox and NCAA sports have lost a viewer.

I guess we’ll finally be done with the silly talking point that rooting for duck success is good for OSU too.

Why would anyone regularly watch BIG10 football. Mornings are for family and yard work. Afternoons are for light to severe alcoholism and football.

I know it's not much, but Fox and NCAA sports have lost a viewer. I think you are not alone in this. Maybe even to the point that some might take notice. There was a great article linked here a few weeks ago by a Big12 writer. One of the best, most salient points they made on the heels of the Pac implosion and I'm paraphrasing here, A bunch of fans, schools, and conferences think they "won" today. They didn't. All of CFB has lost in this. I think we are staring at the beginning of the end. CFB is going to decline from here. You don't destroy the very soul of something, and then sit back and watch it grow. CFB as we know it is dead. A bunch of people are going to take a while to figure that out. In the meantime, hole is like a teenager who just went way beyond their means to finance the car they really thought they wanted. Sure, it feels GREAT driving it off the lot and for the first several weeks you're on top of the world. Then right about the time that they begin to realize the car isn't all they thought it was cracked up to be, the payments come due and reality sets in that they are Fu$%ed!

He said he wasn't sure what the Mountain West Schedule was 🤨 oh well, been gettin' that from my circle of friends my whole life (I know, find new friends) There are very few ducks in the circles I run with, or in my fam. Also, pretty sure I wouldn't go to someone's house to watch quacks v. dawgs, especially knowing there's be people in green and highlighter yellow. The few ducks I do hang with are in FF leagues.....they tend to be the more obnoxious guys in the leagues too.....hmmmm
