The Blind Side..gets blind sided...

Actually, it was a lawyer/ investigator for the NCAA - most likely because of a complaint from Tennessee, who was butt hurt he chose Old Miss.  I hope the allegations of the Touhy's skimming/ siphoning money off of him are not true.  What is more likely to me is the Touhy's had substantial assets when they took him in, and they were afraid that something in his past could make them legally liable for past damages.

I thought I read somewhere recently that one of the reasons Michael Oher retired from the NFL is his diagnosed CTE.  What I was wondering after reading that, would the Touhy's, accepting him as their son, be heartbroken they even suggested he take up football, if in fact he has CTE.  I am sure there is more to the story, but if the Touhy's were low income when he came to live with them, I could see financial shenanigans happening.  The fact that they seem to have had, and have today, means - I would prefer to believe they did what the did for the right reasons.  We shall see
