Lots of BS in That story, starting with the first paragraph. The Oregon Ducks will face better competition and become far more accessible for fans to watch when they move to the Big Ten next year."Better" competition? We'll see. In what sport? Baseball? Softball? Volleyball? Not so. "Far more accessible for fans to watch?" Every Oregon football game was already on TV. Hard to see how you can get more accessible than that. The travel charts with approximate flight times is only viable to the football program, which charters. You can probably double the times listed for destinations where they won't charter. There is no friggin way, flying commercial, to get from Eugene to Penn State in 4:35. Double that. Same with flying to Rutgers, there is no direct flight from Eugene. Those travel times to Purdue, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois and Nebraska are all fantasies too, for any team not flying charter. There are no direct commercial flights to Indianapolis, Madison, Lincoln/Omaha or Chicago from Eugene. And guess what, charters cost big money too. Let's see when all their 2024-25 schedules come out, and compare them to this coming season. Apples to apples. The biggest lie is by the AD. “The student-athlete experience is our highest priority ... ”
Yeah, right. Crepea got fed the company line and swallowed it H, L & S.

Cherry-picked fluff piece with one real paragraph at the end.

Didn't click the link, based on the comments sounds like just more spin and propaganda coming out of Eugene.
What would be hilarious is to place their recruiting pitches regarding coming to play for Oregon in the PAC versus what their spin is now regarding the PAC.. I'm sure the exact opposite of what they used to say.
You know they weren't telling their recruits the B1G had better competition, or was a better conference, or blah blah blah. How do you know a duck is lying?

Yeah, right. Crepea got fed the company line and swallowed it H, L & S. Lol...more accessible? Guess his definition is on different networks? Oregon games will be 5th or lower on the pecking order unless they are playing PSU, UM, tOSU, MSU... no one in their market gives one piece of crap about watching Oregon. Can't wait to hear the bitching when tailgaters have to start at 8am. The hoity toity like their prime time parties. But, of course both better like later starts as that is the time frame the B10 is missing.

It's nice they interviewed players that were from the Midwest and east. Wonder what west coast parents think.

It's interesting that with all the disagreements we have had over the years, we are practically in lockstep on most, if not all, of the issues regarding conference realignment and OSU's role/place/importance in it. Yeah, can't wait for that noon ET kickoff when Oregon plays at Penn State, Ohio State, Rutgers or Maryland. I remember when we had a 10 a.m. or 9 a.m. PT kickoff at Louisville, the local part of the tailgate show started at 5 a.m. or thereabouts.

That's probably because stubborn folks that aren't afraid to get informed and have strong opinions are sometimes arse wipes in anonymous online situations?! Speaking for myself of course😬 Otherwise would be getting a bit tipsy discussing such sh$t in person!

Is it me or is the tv networks that carry the Big10 in Oregon advertising much more than they usually do?
In fact I did not even know the Big10 had its own network much like the Pac-12 network until I saw it on sling. That is on top of Fox and CBS?

And this is the first you're learning about it?
