Is this just another example of OSU potentially dropping the ball on us? That meeting you mentioned is in over 2 weeks, 3 weeks from when all this went down. In my opinion there's a bit of a state of emergency here and the best they can muster is to hold an important meeting in over 2 weeks. WTH?! Is this the best we've got?

Hmmm, I don't mind the delay. It allows us time to see how things shake out before making our next move. Would hate for us to jump into something only to have a better opportunity come along after we've signed on the dotted line. I think you need to get something wrapped up before the season starts, but there is still plenty of time. I'll be curious to see what the topic of the WSU meeting is about.

If something really starts to happen in the meantime they'll move it up. OSU has been working to resolve that "state of emergency" since it happened. They aren't just sitting around.

I'm sure OSU officials are working on it and if something big comes up, they'll schedule an earlier meeting.

I think the delay will be Stanford and Cal as they cast about for the invite to a P4 conference. Knowing their status may go along way in deciding future moves.
As I side note, I have a cousin who went to Stanford and last August, I asked him what he thought of the UCLA and USC move and he just laughed and said, "We'll just go to the Big 10." He's always been a little to sure of himself and it gives me at least a little chuckle to think of him sweating it out right now.

Until they post the agendas for either meeting, not sure if this is relevant to the current events around conference realignment.

Before we panic, need to see their agenda. These board meetings may have zero to do with the conference topic.
