They had a meeting on Monday. Stanford and Cal declined.
This is our last option. MWC is holding together as all or nothing it seems which if that is the case we will be fiscally challenged for years. It may be inevitable however.
B12 not going to happen.
Best option is combination of the best of 2-3 conferences but that is not looking good either.

Are the Stanford and Cal presidents the same f%#*ing presidents who rejected expansion all along, to the Pac's detriment? I don't know the answer to that question, but if so, the sooner they leave the better. We're fighting for survival. Let them go find teams who want it to be all about academics and academics only. Let the rest of us worry about athletics when making decisions about athletic conferences. |
