If we end up in an inferior conference with inferior funding and not playing on a level playing field, we should absolutely not play uo in anything. Playing body bag games against the ducks would push me over the edge to a state of mind I do not even wish to contemplate.

Plenty of body bag games available, we should NEVER give Oregon the time of day again.

Sad- tradition, honor, respectability, and commitment mean nothing. It disgusts me what's happened. Long ago, this would not have happened when student came first in student-athlete and the leaders that ran these universities had dignity.
I'll continue watching the Beavs, but college football is over for me beyond OSU.

Does Oregon legislature have no say in this? Oregon might think it's athletic dept is a business on the free market, but they aren't - technically speaking. UO is still a State institution last time I checked.

You do realize that we beat them last year by playing a style of football played prior to the invention of the forward pass. If you meant body bag game for them, then I sincerely apologize. F them.

Once the full effects of our demotion come to bear, it will absolutely be considered a body bag game. We can schedule those anywhere, should never do so to allow oregon to assuage some of their guilt

On the plus side, this could be the last year we have the "civil war" debate on the forum.

Having a hybrid Pac12/MWC conference, if that's the only option, may be tolerable. But I don't see players like Aidan Chiles staying around, or the coaching staff for that matter.

I’d be down with rolling it back to the 80s when it was all under the control of the NCAA…TV contracts and all. NCAA has been gutted and it shows. Conferences have been gutted. Loyalty and traditions have no meaning anymore. Just the almighty dollar. I say f%#* it all.
The death knell of the Pac is the death of me giving two s%#ts about college athletics anymore.
Except I will root for my Buckeyes to whip the Ducks until they beg for mercy. The other deserting Pac 12 teams can go f%#* themselves.
Rant somewhat over. May be followed with further rants.

The problem will be keeping the staff
