This from the cougar board.
"Oregon State and Washington State can’t go to the MWC for financial reasons. Cal as well. All three are heavily indebted and have already spent the next several years of PAC12 checks. The salaries of their entire Athletic Departments and coaches is based on P5 money and the commiserate fund raising."
I'm guessing that means that we can't stay as we currently are and go to the MWC.
