All this realignment happens… I’m not interested in uo. F’em. Wouldn’t schedule them.

I've seen more than one person setting up the cross border rivalry between uw and uo.
I have yet to see any reference of wsu or the Beavers. There is talk of the 4 corners schools sticking together in their move. Supposedly cal will be moving with stanford to keep their rivalry intact.
I can't help but wonder how many athletes will transfer out to play for a power 4 (not a typo) school. It is hard enough to get the best players to become Beavers when we are in a p-5 conference.

We'll see. Our recruiting isn't competitive with top 20 schools anyways. Players are more likely to be poached than losing recruits. If the program stays strong and Smith stays it's still better to be here than in a bottom 10 school in the big 20

With the exception of the mountain schools, one of the true beauties of the PAC was its 5 natural in state rivalries, with 4 of them being only a short drive apart. Not just the Civil War, but the Apple Cup goes away also. It's almost criminal.

Where are they all going to go? Where are Stanford and Cal slated to end up? I see lots of talk about Zona, but not Utah (ASU seems fluid).

I think I'll just be done with watching college football at large other than casually if I'm in a sports bar or at someone's house. I've been watching less and less as life/priorities change, this might just be the end for me.

Son is at Linfield...I hear their game days are still fun. A sad day.

Maybe they won't all go. Once UCLA and USC left and with Stanford mired in scandal, Oregon and Washington are the lifeblood of the conference. If Oregon and Washington stay, the conference probably hangs together. The Apple+ deal is for less guaranteed money but is for potentially a lot more money than the ACC or Big 12, if enough people sign up. Both Oregon and Washington are driving things at this point, which is not ideal. As I have mentioned a couple of times, Arizona and Arizona State have a combined Board of Regents. It seems incomprehensible that one could leave and the other stay. I believe that they are pretty much tied together despite sensationalist speculation otherwise. Utah has a BYU problem. BYU is in the Big 12. There are things that they could do to keep Utah out I have heard. One would assume that the Big Ten is going to take Stanford for several reasons and Cal Berkeley as well, if both want to go that route. I don't know. There are still a lot of things that need to settle. Oregon and Washington seem dead-set on blowing this thing up assuming that the Big Ten+6 wants them and makes them a decent offer.

It is my hope the Beavers continue to play the Ducks in all sports. Move the game to September & get the best result one could hope for beat Oregon.

If we drop to the MWC there is going to be a mass exodus of players in all sports, coaches too. Playing the slugeaters will not be pretty.
