True that. And, the very little I've seen/heard Kirby he actually seems very even keel. I'll withdraw my nomination in that regard... hard to say how our Coaches/fan base would react/act if OSU ever was going for a 3 peat. I can guess though, as a couple far removed ND wins are still the highlight of many! Kirby has his head up his a$$ by downplaying all the problems Georgia has had in this offseason, with player and staff deaths due to drag racing, etc. There are serious off-field issues in that program. True... but, I'm one that takes off-the-field issues with a grain of salt. You recruit kids without really knowing what type of people they are. Coaches do the best job they can, but some folks are just idiots and you can't police players 24/7. Being well removed from the daily reporting on SEC teams I'm sure there are more issues than we hear about. But, the same would apply to OSU. I just don't necessarily think off-the-field stuff can be directly correlated to the coach/staff most of the time. Now, looking the other way, having multiple incidents with no repercussions or removals from the program... that is on the coach and school itself. |

I do take a slight bit of pleasure in UW and Hole not being admitted as full members. Not even appreciated enough to get a full share. Sad!
