Her son died last year of an apparent suicide.

I did not wish her ill, but I was never exactly rooting for her either. She never made any music that I enjoyed listening to and was a whiner, even when she was at her most cogent.
That said, having had to help my family to commit my father for a time for mental issues, I do not wish mental issues on anyone. Terrible!
