Curious who's list might be? Media? You?
I like it, just curious.

Most teams don't have next year's roster up yet so it's not too easy to figure things out. For instance Betts is off of Stanford's roster but not on UCLA's, and Stanford has not added any Freshmen.
Once I know who is actually on what team I'll be more comfortable in stating my completely ignorant opinion.

I’d probably switch Colorado and OSU for a preseason poll. While OSU returns a lot, so do a lot of other teams, unfortunately.

Could Cori Close finally win the Pac12 in their final season in the Pac12? I'm not ready to give a predicted finish yet, but I'm taking a closer look than ever at giving UCLA a shot at winning the conference. I just don't know if Cori can get it done.

This is off topic, but I seriously wonder if USC and UCLA really, fully comprehend what they are getting themselves into starting next year? I mean, for any of their sport teams that play games outdoors in late fall, winter or early spring, they are going to be taking longer flights than ever before and doing so just for the "priveledge" of frequently freezing their asses off like never before. If they think short(er) winter flights to play at WSU, Colorado, and Utah during the cold months are bad enough, just wait until they have to fly practically cross country and much more often in order to play at PSU, UofM, MSU, OSU, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Northwestern, Indiana, Purdue, and Iowa which, in my estimation can be even colder. I can tell you from first hand experience, they won't be happy, especially coming from warm, sunny southern CA!!! I have lived in western Oregon, central Oregon, eastern Washington, western Washington, North Dakota (which is cold like Minnesota), Michigan, and Maryland and I know how cold some of their new destinations can get! Good luck to them!!!!

Good luck to them!!!! Last year tailgating before the usc game talked to two groups of usc fans. Each and every one - about 12- were firmly against the move. They like the short flights, the history of the pac12, etc...I don't think these people are flying across country to watch games.

Whatever you may think about Bill Walton, I think his statement about UCLA's move to a conference on the other side of the country is spot on.
The only people who like the idea are the only people who will benefit from it. The folks running the athletic department. Whenever an organization gets a larger revenue the people running things get paid more money. And their bosses love this because now they can point out that their flunkies are making more money so THEY need to be paid more.

Call it schadenfreude (of the justice based flavor), but one of the reasons I am really rooting for George K. to succeed wildly in landing a Pac-10/12/14/16 media deal is so that a year or two from now when USC/UCLA see a happy successful conference of geographically and academically similarly inclined institutions enjoying their relatively short travels, they ponder "what could have been" and their boosters think it aloud. Maybe it can serve as an object lesson in "all that glitters is not gold" or selective accounting pitfalls. Back on topic: I think OSU will have a hard time finishing in the top 4 just with what other teams seem to be returning (in general), but the top 6 would be good progress back to where OSU has grown accustomed to hanging out. I think health of players is paramount. Also, we need more than one "Kolbie jump" in the returners. Good news is that I actually think most of this roster has not shown its ceiling as of yet. Should make for an interesting season. Also - are there any "super" success stories after a transfer? None of our transfers out seemed to "take it to the next level" at their new school (beyond what they had already shown, i.e. DS). I am wondering, because if you (for example) look at Sela Heide's bio, here are some stats: "As a [HS] senior she averaged 16.8 points per game and 11.4 rebounds per contest, while adding 2.6 blocks per game" - getting, say, 50% of that per contest would be just the kind of thing that could propel us....... Go Beavers!

Tough call, but I think WSU ends up #1 or #2. Seems like they have everyone coming back. Oregon State might be the big surprise as in a finish between #2 - #4 depending on how they pull together. The trip to Italy should be very good for them.

You are correct, WSU WBB is a team that will most definitely compete for the PAC-12 title.

How in the world is Colorado gonna finish 10th? Lost nobody noteworthy from a team that went 25-9 overall and 13-5 in conference (good for 3rd place) last year, and reached the Sweet 16.
Oregon St. vaulting all the way from near the cellar to 4th seems quite optimistic.

And with 11th place finish Gravy train gets fired next year. Ha!
