Paurova was not among the 12 on the roster given a number, so I’d assume she isn’t competing. Makes sense given her busy summer thus far.

Watched the game. I'm a Martha fanboy, but I will be first to say this wasn't Martha's best game. Got beat multiple times when defending 1v1, didn't shoot well from the outside. Martha does fine running the offense and gets her players organized.
I think Lina Sontag (UCLA) may have been injured. Looked like a knee injury. No idea how serious but she had to be assisted off the court and wasn't putting any weight on her injured leg.

But including the free throws Martha was basically 4/5 from medium range. She was also very vocal which I find great in a PG. It was very strange that despite getting the most minutes on the team she never ran the offense. And I think she was the best passer on the team. Two of her passes ended up with the wrong team, but it was her teammates who messed up and not her pass. The only things I see her needing to work on is her defense and three point shooting. Two things that Aleah can help her with when Martha gets back to Corvo (as the kiddos say). |

Agree with you that Aleah will be very helpful to Martha, but also helpful to Coach Rueck in developing our PG group. Aleah will also be helpful in helping Rueck determine who is ready to run the PG position next season. Watched Martha's 2nd game in the FIBA U20, and not a good 1st half for Martha but better 2nd half. I think Martha will play better with her OSU teammates as there will be a familiarity with OSU teammates, and additionally, Martha and her OSU teammates know where they are suppose to be in the offense and defensive schemes. |

It looked pretty bad  One guy I used to play basketball with would alway stick one of his feet under me during a jump - ended up badly spraining my ankle(s) a couple times. Had to quit playing bball with him. He acted like he was playing good defense. |
