Agree with you, but I follow recruiting pretty closely and this staff has been comparatively really good in keeping recruits that committed to them. If my memory serves, there were only 2 decommitments last year and only 1 from this year so far (the one is actually a young man who decided not to play football at all). Compare this to someone like UCLA who has more decommits this year than current commits.

It cuts both ways. Coaches are pressuring kids to commit earlier and earlier - usually on the summer camp circuit, long before senior year even starts. I don't really blame a 17 year old kid for changing his mind. We've always experienced losing a couple kids and we've always picked up a couple kids originally committed somewhere else, so it goes... I believe we even have 2-3 WSU commits visiting this weekend.
