You included the word "personally". I never used that word. If you have to misquote me, you're creating your own bogus narrative. Her playing career was disappointing. I stand by that. You are going to get all butt hurt over your initial post that uses very precise language, that you now say isn't what you meant?? "She was a huge disappointment during her 4-year career..." That's a DIRECT quote. "She" indicates the person as a whole, which "personally" is a fairly accurate interpretation. Maybe mea culpa and just admit your initial post was poorly written?? Simple...

Actually she provided one of the most memorable highlightsof the 2021-2021 season. Who can forget her breakaway layup to begin the 2022 Senior Day Game vs. Cal (2/20/22)? Agreed, not only does "She" correspond closely to "personally"; but "during her 4-year career" is also in the realm of "personally"

We were all disappointed that Andrea was never allowed to play; we were all very impressed with the way she handled herself during warmups and from the bench every game for all 4 years; we all came to be quite attached to her and have fond memories of her time here at Oregon State; we were all glad to see her move on with her life successfully; we're all happy to see her get to play basketball again; we all hope she continues to enjoy her life; we all look on her as a Beaver forever; we'll all welcome her warmly whenever she chooses to return to Gill.
Let's leave it at that.

I'm around many people that speak English as a second language, and they sometimes say things in a way that is offensive. Who in their right mind would say they're "disappointed" with AA over something she had no control? Personally, I think the person meant to say the situation was disappointing, not AA. One time I said a 2-syllable word in front of some Taiwanese thinking it was a good thing to say... it wasn't, but they forgave me anyway.

Read the OP's own responses particularly the one that mentions "partially agreeing".
