Interesting to see Tinkle say what we were all saying on the board this last year, that the offense was borderline unwatchable at times. At least he also saw it and didn't like what he saw, gives me at least a little hope it will improve this next year.

What is tinkle supposed to say - that we are going to suck again? Last year he really didn't say much that positive preseason that I can really recall. This is more positive than I can recall of late. |

I definitely expect a better season this year. Four of our top five scorers from last year return (at least so far) and three of those four were true freshman. I also think Ibekwe will show a little progress, as well. I think 9-11 in conference play.

I'm wondering if Eggers goofed up or if Marrs went through a bit of a name change. Gavin/Glenn, it's still a G in the front either way.
We're a significantly taller team this year if everyone is healthy. We're significantly stronger up front if last year's freshmen come back bigger and improved.
This year's freshmen could be intriguing, especially the 2 bigs.

We have to get you started on the Oregon State version of The Onion. Tinkle says light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. Casa De Tinkle is already on the market. Players say that practices are solely them dribbling for 25 seconds, while everyone else stands around, and then lofting up a jump shot. Wayne Tinkle's resume was recently found sitting on several store counters at the Valley River Mall. Smitty says secondary to be much improved over 2022 is the next piece. |

So what is it when it happens once (E8) in (9) seasons... with (1) other tournament appearance, each followed by two of the worst (one is the worst) seasons in OSU basketball history... AND a losing conference record (52 games under .500), losing overall record (31 games under) despite very weak NC scheduling... and the 10th best Pac12 record in that stretch? Curious, cuz everyone has their own definition of mediocrity. Since the typical use means "average" (you think it should be better), or "barely adequate", wouldn't that career record at OSU fit? And, to many "barely adequate" is a generous. |

I honestly can’t imagine anyone thinking Tink’s program is even REMOTELY close to being mediocre. It isn’t. It IS less than mediocre.
