Uncle Phil wants to, but Jody Allen refused to sell them the team. Not sure the Philster is the one to sell the team too...Sure he is local, and rich. But is also 85yrs old and won't be a long term owner..just a fact of life. But, he has already said that he will provisions in his will to keep the team in PDX. Plus, he’s got some much younger partners.

Portland can’t build a team. I think they’ve proven that time and time again. Uncle Phil wants to, but Jody Allen refused to sell them the team. Is ownership the real problem? This isn’t something that just began when she took over.

Paul Allen died October, 2018. The four full seasons after his death are considerably worse than the four full seasons prior to his death. Coincidence? Don't think so.

Jody doesn’t really care and that’s a problem. The former/current ownership promoted the current cronyism throughout the front office. A new ownership group would be hopefully clear out all the old upper level management and bring in true basketball people. The one thing that Knight can not be faulted for is finding, spending to find high quality staff and delegating to their expertise. That is the only way the Blazer "ship" gets out of dry dock.
