It's a real shame that Portland couldn't put a team together around Lillard. Sure, the game has changed, but Portlanders deserved another round of Trail Blazer mania like in the 90s with Drexler and co.

Sonic fan wanted their team sold too. Phil Knight is certainly hated here, but he’s been practically begging to buy the team. We know he can run a sports franchise from his ownership of U of O. But he would certainly seem more motivated than the reclusive current ownership to build a winner. Side benefit, it would take away some free cash flow that may normally be spent in Eugene. |

Steph Curry can’t play D and he has several championships. They never got Dame enough help. Dame is no Steph Curry. Doesn’t really matter. If the Blazers had had Curry, he too would have been given no legitimate help and would have been a shiny hood ornament on a beaten jalopy of a team. |

Portland can’t build a team. I think they’ve proven that time and time again. Uncle Phil wants to, but Jody Allen refused to sell them the team. Not sure the Philster is the one to sell the team too...Sure he is local, and rich. But is also 85yrs old and won't be a long term owner..just a fact of life. |
