That explains his early exit from last night's game.

Ouch. Didn’t seem himself this year. I hope he recovers successfully and can continue to play.

Matt Boyd had successful Tommy John surgery 10 days ago and is in rehab. Normal recovery is at least a year.

The Dallas surgery suggests it is the Ranger's Orthopedic Surgeon that performed the procedure. As I seem to recall, isn't that where Will Frisch had his done?
The guy I hear most about is Neal Elattache M.D. at the UCLA affiliated Kerlan-Jobe Clinic. He has successfully reattached the damaged ligament, then grafted a second ligament to in effect, double strengthen the UCL. He is the team Orthopedist for the LA Dodgers and NF's LA Rams.
I would like to know more about how many he's repaired and their subsequent outcomes.

Speaking of Will Fritsch. Not seeing any minor league stats. Guess he never recovered?

Boyd previously went to Dallas to repair his flexor tendon in his throwing arm in 2021. You can read about Elattache repairs. Is there a good one that you can really point to? Tommy John surgery is a very mixed bag in general.

I would be interested in something more along the lines of Clinical Records and Medical Charts detailing Surgical outcomes - something impossible to view.
I'm afraid Google, Yahoo News and the National Enquirer won't satisfy my curiosity.

I'm afraid Google, Yahoo News and the National Enquirer won't satisfy my curiosity. I found a half-assed Excel spreadsheet online on the topic. You could probably do better. Then, find a way to get it out there and try and monetize it. It's an interesting topic but not one that I have the ability to chase down right now.
