Perfect Game comments:
3B | Trent Caraway (6-2, 205), S.J. Capistrano-JSerra Catholic, CA HS
Caraway had a phenomenal year for the state of California’s top high school program in 2023, helping them to a Southern Section Division I Championship. He broke the school’s previous single season hits record, which led him to a .462 average while tacking on 11 doubles and seven home runs, some of the better totals in the state as well. He’s climbed draft boards as well and could be a Day 1 guy. Committed yo Oregon State.
P | Bryce Johnson (6-3, 215), Sammamish-Eastlake, WA HS
Johnson was excellent all spring long as Eastlake made their way to winning the state’s 4A title. He went 12-0 and had just a 0.37 ERA across 76 innings, and his 110 strikeouts to 13 walks was one of the better K:BB ratios in the entire country from this past springs. He’s headed to Oregon State.
