At least Carson Shaddy made an effort.
Unbelievable.

At least Carson Shaddy made an effort. Unbelievable. You have to see it to make an effort. 4 guys had no clue where that ball went. It’s tough when it gets above the lights.

One of those moments when you ask yourself “did I really just see that”?

One of those moments when you ask yourself “did I really just see that”? "No," said the Texas outfielders.

The 2B, CF, and RF all lost it. The 1B and the SS each saw it, but the SS did not realize that it was as bad as it was until it was too late. The pitcher walked off pumped and only realized too late that he had just "earned" a loss.
Hilarious!

Now that's home field advantage!

The SS saw it, but it was too far for him to go and get it.

Shades of three little piggies Not really a good comparison. The Arkansas players all saw and were running toward the ball.

A great series. Hitting, pitching and playmaking. Chock full of good baseball.
Look forward to seeing the Beavs and Stanford play next year in Corvallis.

It looked as if they never even saw if off the bat. Neither OF made a move toward the ball at all. Usually if the CF sees a ball like that off the bat, he moves over to back up the RF, but no one moved at all.
I've seen this happen at Goss during Knights games, in twilight time. They play a lot more games that involve twilight than the Beavers. I seem to remember it happening in 2022 on a ball hit by Wade Meckler to LF, the guy never saw it and it fell for a double.
Lights at college/some minor-league parks are much lower than at MLB parks. When the ball gets above them, it's tough to pick up, especially at twilight time.

Didn't this happen at a Beaver game at Goss this season or last? Opposing center fielder lost the ball, and it landed on the track in straight away center.

Other way around: dailybaro.orangemedianetwork.com/16484/daily-barometer-sports/beaver-baseball-gets-win-over-huskies-in-11th-inning/Wade was the one that lost the ball and it dropped for a double. He made up for it by hitting a game typing homer in the Bottom of the eighth and then Forrester walked the game off in the bottom of the 11th
