I would sure like the selection committee to consider the likelihood of weather especially lightning delays when selecting host sites. It's not gonna happen but there have been so many weather delays due to lightning...it's unfair to the athletes, especially the visiting teams, and the fans What about considering the Cascadia Earthquake? We would never host again. The NCAA has a hard enough time without you expecting them to control and/or make decisions regarding the weather. Life isn’t fair. Maybe the lightning free teams should win more games.

How many other teams played series against juggernauts Coppin St and Western Carolina?

South Carolina played:
UMass Lowell (3). Not UMass. Directional UMass.
Queens.
North Carolina A&T.
Winthrop (2)
The Citadel (2), which finished below WCU in the SoCon
USC Upstate (2)
Bethune-Cookman (3)
Presbyterian (7th in the Big South)
Charleston Southern (5th in the Big South)
North Florida
Juggernauts.
Maybe we didn't deserve a regional, who knows. But don't kid yourself. Everybody plays some Q4 games like WCU and Coppin State every damn season, not just us.

1. Wake Forest 47-10 .825 2. Virginia 45-12 .789 3. Florida 44-14 .759 4. LSU 43-15 .741 5. Indiana State 42-15 .737 6. Arkansas 41-16 .719 7. Clemson 43-17 .717 8. Oklahoma State 41-17 .707 9. Stanford 38-16 .704 10. Vanderbilt 41-18 .695
Oregon State 39-18 .684
11. Alabama 40-19 .678 11. Miami (Florida) 40-19 .678 13. Coastal Carolina 39-19 .672 14. South Carolina 39-19 .672 15. Kentucky 36-18 .667 16. Auburn 34-21-1 .616
Records against teams with an RPI of >200.
1. Wake Forest 10-0 2. Virginia 12-0 3. Florida 3-0 4. LSU 5-0 5. Indiana State 15-0 6. Arkansas 7-0 7. Clemson 3-0 8. Oklahoma State 4-0 9. Stanford 4-0 10. Vanderbilt 4-1
Oregon State 9-2
11. Alabama 8-0 11. Miami (Florida) 3-0 13. Coastal Carolina 6-1 14. South Carolina 6-0 15. Kentucky 2-0 16. Auburn 2-0
If we factor out wins over grossly-overmatched teams, we get:
1. Wake Forest 37-10 2. Florida 41-14 3. Virginia 33-12 4. LSU 38-15 5. Clemson 40-17 6. Oklahoma State 37-17 7. Arkansas 34-16 7. Stanford 34-16 9. Vanderbilt 37-18 10. Miami (Florida) 37-19 11. Kentucky 34-18 12. Indiana State 27-15 13. Coastal Carolina 33-19 13. South Carolina 33-19 15. Alabama 32-19
Oregon State 30-18
16. Auburn 32-21-1
This feels about right. Auburn had no business hosting. They just did not do well enough against teams with pulses to warrant it. I don't know that Oregon State deserved to host, but they deserved to host far more than Auburn.
